Do You Need Some Tips On Adhesives?

Dernière mise à jour : 16 oct. 2020

Would you wish to dig deeper and gain more knowledge about adhesives? Well, there is good news for you. Here we give some important tips that can make you have a better experience with adhesives. This does not regard any specific adhesive; it's more of general guideline pertaining all adhesives

To begin with, give a good shake to your bottle of adhesive. Start by removing the cap by the help of a small sponge to cover up the tip before you shake. With the tip covered, shake the bottle like you mean it- shake it thoroughly.

In the next step, obtain a brand new glue dot after every 20 to 30 minutes to ensure that each time you use a fresh dot. Hydrogen in the air makes the glue to cure or dry quickly, and it’s not pleasant for it to dry before use. If your glue cures faster, it means there is excess humidity in the environment. You may need to find a possibility of lowering the humidity in case your glue dries before 20 minutes. You can get rid of equipment that can also make the adhesive dry faster such as the AC, fans, heaters or open windows.

If adjusting the humidity seems impossible, consider switching your dot sooner. Alternatively you may get glue that dries slower. To keep the glue fresh and have a good retention, you’ll need to replace your bottle of glue in approximately every six weeks.

Makesups, or even any trace of their residue results in lashes that shed prematurely. Ensure that your clients have not put on mascara or any other type of makeup around their eyelid. Even if you remove and wash off the make up, retention may still not be the best.

Lastly, you’ll want to take the right steps when it comes to preparing the primary set. See to it that the rashes are spotless, then utilize a premier to make the glue adhere to the natural lash in a great way. Ensure that your premier has no oils on it since oils tend to parch your natural lash. The glue will stick better in the presence of moisture.

Congratulations! You now have it. We hope this has been helpful in sorting out your glue problems.
